Cruise Line Apologizes as Passengers Witness Slaughter of Dozens of Whales

A cruise line has issued an apology to over 1,000 passengers after one of its ships arrived at a port in the midst of a whale hunt, where dozens of these marine mammals were being slaughtered. The incident took place in Torshavn, located in the Faroe Islands, an archipelago situated in the North Atlantic between Scotland, Iceland, and Norway. The cruise line, Ambassador Cruise Lines, expressed disappointment over the coinciding of their ship's arrival with the culmination of a hunt involving more than 40 pilot whales.
